Minter Ellison Rudd Watts News

Welcoming Andrew Horne to the partnership

19 November 2009

Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has announced the appointment of commercial litigation and dispute resolution specialist Andrew Horne to the firm.

Andrew has over 15 years’ experience advising clients in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom in dispute resolution, civil and commercial litigation, banking and financial services, and IT and telecommunications.

Andrew is experienced in managing complex, high-value disputes, including taking cases to trial and resolving disputes through mediation. He also works with clients to avoid disputes by resolving issues at an early stage.

Andrew returns to Minter Ellison Rudd Watts after nine years with Clifford Chance LLP in London, where he became a Partner in 2006.

Commenting on the appointment, Managing Partner Mark Weenink said: “Andrew is an excellent addition to the partnership.  We are fortunate to have attracted someone of Andrew's calibre back to the firm at a time when world-class litigators are in high demand.”

Andrew joins the firm’s dispute resolution team in Auckland as a Partner, once the requirements of the Law Society are met.
