Kate Healy joins the Minter Ellison Rudd Watts’ partnership
Minter Ellison Rudd Watts continues to grow the partnership with Kate Healy the latest addition.
Kate is a specialist in commercial property, with a detailed knowledge of property finance and related restructuring and insolvency issues. Her experience includes structuring property and financing transactions, acting for public entities and high net worth individuals and families in connection with all aspects of property acquisition, ownership and disposal. Kate advises the major banks in relation to property aspects of financing transactions, and has recently been involved in a number of hotel industry related matters. In the recovery and insolvency field Kate has been a legal adviser on the recent Kawarau Falls Station, Lighter Quay (Westin Auckland) and Crafar Farms receiverships.
Prior to joining Minter Ellison’s Auckland office in 2009, she spent a number of years practising with commercial law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler in both Melbourne and Sydney. In 2004 she was recipient of the Victorian Young Property Lawyer of the Year award from the Victorian Property Council.
Kate is based in the firm’s property team which has also recently welcomed two new partners, Patricia Green (Wellington) and construction specialist Mark Crosbie (Auckland).
