Who's who of competition lawyers
MERW Partner, Andrew Matthews, has been named as one of New Zealand's leading competition lawyers in the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers. Andrew, who was also recognised in the 2006 Who's Who of Business Lawyers, is one of only three New Zealand competition lawyers named in this year's guide.
Andrew leads MERW's Auckland Corporate & Commercial Division and the firm's Competition & Regulatory Team, and has extensive experience dealing with competition regulators in New Zealand, the EU and UK. Some of Andrew's recent projects include the sale of Independent Liquor, Yahoo!7's joint venture to establish YahooXtra!, and the Bayer HealthCare/Roche Consumer Health merger.
