Trans-Tasman law firm, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, has appointed two new senior associates - Karen Haynes and Rachel Colley.
Karen Haynes is a company and securities law expert with particular expertise in takeovers, mergers and acquisitions. She has advised corporations ranging from international public companies to small private entities. Karen also undertakes a broad range of legal work in the banking and finance sector, including establishing unit trusts and negotiating funds management agreements. Karen is working across the Corporate and the Banking & Finance teams and is based in the firm's Wellington office.
Rachel Colley is an experienced intellectual property lawyer specialising in both contentious and commercial/transactional intellectual property. She advises on branding strategy, the use and registration of trade marks, design registration, intellectual property infringement, passing off and Fair Trading disputes, and marketing, advertising and branding issues. Rachel is based in the firm's Auckland Corporate team.
