Our History 

Minter Ellison Rudd Watts is one of New Zealand’s most established law firms. We are proud of our heritage dating back 130 years.

Today, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, a local and trusted advisor with offices in Auckland and Wellington, is part of the Minter Ellison Legal Group, one of the largest legal groups across Australia and New Zealand and amongst the largest in the world.

Minter Ellison employs over 2000 people in 14 offices across four countries. Our global reach includes London, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and ten office locations across Australia and New Zealand.

We are proud of our people, past and present, and our contribution to the community and New Zealand society:
