Andrew's experience includes delivering a number of complex projects, specialising in front end project strategy and procurement.  Andrew has a wealth of experience in construction, property, facilities management, and infrastructure transactions and brings considerable real world project knowledge to his work, from his experience with a top independent project management firm and from working with leading property practitioners. Andrew excels at fostering relationships with key stakeholders involved in large scale construction projects.

  • Acted for a number of developers and financiers in the preparation and review of construction contract documents for major commercial projects
  • Acting for a variety of residential and commercial property developers on site acquisition agreements, project documentation
  • Acted for international rural property owner on property acquisitions, due diligence investigations, Overseas Investment Office (OIO) applications along with various leasing and contracting arrangements
  • Acted for an Unit Trust on commercial property acquisitions, due diligence investigations, development agreement negotiations along with associated leasing and contracting arrangements
  • Acting for Counties Manukau District Health Board in relation to the development of the CHSI modular project at the Middlemore Campus
  • Advising on the contract terms between Synlait Milk Limited with an offshore party for the design, supply and installation of a large dairy processing plant in the South Island
  • Acting for DNZ Property fund in relation to its development at Remarkables Park, Queenstown
  • Acting for the Motutapu Island Restoration trust regarding a sponsorship agreement, and assisting the Trust in its negotiations with a third party in a long term event management contract and associated licensing and consent issues (Pro-bono)
  • Acting for a Maori Incorporation in relation to a proposed private wind turbine development in the central North Island, including negotiation with off shore supplier and operations manager over the supply contract and long term operations agreement (including performance guarantees)
