Mark has a strong finance and mergers and aquisitions (M&A) background with experience in advising on cross border M&A transactions, acquisition finance, Public Private Partnerships (PPP), infrastructure, debt and alternate asset classes.
 
Some of Mark's major projects
  • Advising on acquisition finance projects in relation to publicly listed and private targets and financed by senior, mezzanine, second lien and high yield finance as well as private equity acquisitions. This included public to private and whitewash/3-debenture security transactions
  • General finance and project finance transactions including PPP's
  • Acting on the finance aspects of the acquisition of various project and commercial targets on the basis of share and asset purchases acquired or developed on the back of non-recourse, limited recourse and full recourse finance
  • Working on transaction jurisdictions in all the major European and Eastern European countries as well as the Americas, the Middle East, South East Asia and Oceania
  • Acting for both developers and financiers in relation to private/public partnership transactions including facilities management services, road, rail, water and power developments
  • Delivering legal services to Challenger Asset Management including a diverse range of funding sources (including a life company balance sheet and listed and unlisted managed investment schemes) and investment criteria (including fixed interest, infrastructure, commercial property and alternative investments) with a global focus
