Areas of expertise

• Extensive involvement in due diligence processes and for the provision of reports for the acquisition of high value commercial property, including acting for Waikato Tainui in the resettlement of over 900 separate parcels of former Crown land as part of the deed of settlement. In addition Jane has acted for TrustPower Limited in relation to the acquisition and divestment of power stations and ancillary land holdings, including making successful OIO applications pertaining to such land acquisitions.
• Acted for a number of Auckland based property development companies including Chancery in the preparation and subsequent settlement of agreements for sale of commercial and residential property for existing building and greenfield sites, cross lease, freehold and unit titles
• Preparation of agreements to build and leaseback advising both developers and tenants
• Acted for both AmTrust and Tainui Group in the portfolio management of high value commercial property, including giving advice on general leasing matters relating to office, industrial and major retail leases
• Unit title apartment developments, unit title commercial office block developments and facilitating settlements of sales
• Acted for Omaha Beach Limited in the subdivision of Omaha South including all aspects of creation of new titles and related easements, creation of a resident's society and design control committee, covenants and other issues
• Documentation of mortgages and financing for all forms of property acquisitions
