She has worked in a range of roles in the electricity sector for more than 10 years and has a good understanding of the sector and the regulatory environment in which it operates. She also has a strong interest in the role of sustainability issues in business.
 
Catherine's experience of working in in-house roles means she has a keen understanding of client needs and expectations. She is comfortable working with senior management teams and boards and has a good working knowledge of corporate governance matters.     • the Electricity Commission's Market Design Review
    • the Code of Practice for Utilities Working in the Roads
    • the Gas (Safety and Measurement) Regulations
  • Advising on compliance with the Electricity Industry Reform Act
  • Advising on access arrangements for network utilities
  • Advising on a range of resources consent and designation processes
