Leading firm celebrates new Band One rankings
International law directory, Chambers Asia-Pacific, has released its latest research ranking New Zealand’s top law firms and legal professionals.
The prestigious directory has awarded MinterEllisonRuddWatts new individual Band One rankings for Chair and Partner Sarah Sinclair in Construction (in addition to her Band One ranking for Energy and Natural Resources) and Partner Silvana Schenone in Corporate.
The top tier firm has also seen individual improvements across other researched practice areas.
The firm’s Corporate practice is also recognised as Band One, and its Tax team has been promoted to Band Two.
The results indicate small shifts in New Zealand’s top four large law firms, with most movement due to individuals.
“The results highlight our firm’s momentum in the market, and the calibre of the advice we provide our clients. New Zealand’s legal services industry is a very competitive market, and we are delighted with the results,” says Chief Executive Andrew Poole.
The firm’s newly ranked partners are:
- Mark Stuart – listed for the first time as a leading Corporate and Commercial lawyer
- David Gilbert – listed for the first time for his Real Estate legal practice
Congratulations also to Megan Richards (Partner, Employment), Andrew Ryan (Partner, Tax), Tom Maasland (Partner, Technology) and Jane Parker (Partner, Technology) who were also promoted in their practice areas.
The Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide is the product of market research which sees several thousand lawyers and clients interviewed by the publications research team.
MinterEllisonRuddWatts has 41 individual rankings across the 14 practice areas researched.
