NZX completes review of listing rules and finalises market structure
Following the discussion paper and survey released by NZX in September 2017, and the second round of consultation in April 2018, NZX has today announced that it has finalised the updated market structure and listing rules.
The new rules will come into effect on 1 January 2019 with a 6-month transition period. On 1 July 2019, the NZX will move to one equity board.
The NZX is also updating its fee schedule which will apply from 1 January 2019.
The NZX has published guidance on the finalised market structure and listing rules which can be found here. The NZX is also consulting on updating its guidance notes on the listing rules. The closing date for feedback is 5.00pm Tuesday, 13 November 2018 and feedback can be emailed to email@example.com.
