Top-tier firm expands Financial Services practice with expert regulatory compliance advisor
Leading law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts welcomed alumnus Alistair Robertson back as a Special Counsel in the Financial Services team today.
Alistair brings extensive experience in financial services and banking regulation, managed funds, regulatory investigations and enquiries, and conduct and culture related matters – and further boosts the firm’s internationally recognised Band 1 Funds team.

Alistair was most recently Head of Compliance at ANZ Bank. As Head of ANZ’s Second Line regulatory compliance functions, Alistair led a team of compliance managers providing compliance expertise and oversight across the full range of New Zealand financial services and banking regulation. He was also responsible for ANZ New Zealand’s regulatory affairs function, including responsibility for managing regulatory enquiries and investigations and regulatory engagement.
