Senior Associate - Banking and Finance

Allison is a Senior Associate in our Banking and Financial Services team and regularly advises clients on all types of financing transactions and banking matters. She has particular expertise in trade finance as well as sustainable finance in the agricultural, energy and metals sectors. Allison is well versed in advising clients on cross-border general corporate lending, property finance, acquisition finance and Islamic finance transactions.

Allison provides pragmatic and timely advice to both lenders and borrowers. Having spent several years working in the legal team of a bank, she has a unique understanding of the environment in which banks operate. She is able to use this knowledge to find workable solutions for all parties. With excellent project management skills, she provides commercially attuned advice to help clients complete their most important transactions.

Allison began working at MinterEllisonRuddWatts in 2007 before moving to Singapore in 2011 to work for the banking and finance team of a global law firm. Allison returned to MinterEllisonRuddWatts in 2021.

Acted for an international bank on the USD280,000,000 loan facility agreement for the acquisition of listed shares in a well-known listed Indonesian mining company.

Receivables purchase program

Advised one of the lenders on the limited recourse receivables purchase program for the international arm of one of China’s largest food companies.
