Jenny Henry

Registered Legal Executive

Jenny is a Senior Registered Legal Executive in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team and has been with the firm since 1987. She is a Fellow Member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives, the highest level of registered status. Jenny has a varied practice including assisting with debt and mortgagee sale recoveries, conveyancing, and estate planning and administration.

Jenny has extensive experience in the debt recovery area. She assists numerous clients, from first tier lender financial institutions through to second tier lenders with a presence both in New Zealand and in Australia. She has been involved with all facets of debt recovery proceedings and has specific expertise in the mortgagee sales process. Her strengths lie with lending of an involved nature, including commercial sales as well as undertaking regular, residential mortgagee sales.

She assists with issuing of notices, effecting mortgagee sales of securities, and attending to the conveyancing of such transactions. Jenny has strong communication skills and is pro-active in endeavouring to reach an amicable resolution with debtors where possible, prior to recovery action being finalised.

In addition to her debt recovery practice, Jenny has more recently expanded her areas of expertise to include the private wealth sector. She assists with estate planning and estate administration. Jenny enjoys working with individuals to help understand their intentions and secure their futures. She can help with preparing wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney and working through the estate administration process.

Well known for her pragmatic and friendly approach, Jenny’s biggest strength is her client relationships. She develops and maintains strong and ongoing connections with her clients and is often their “go to person” when they need help.
