The much-anticipated Chambers and Partners annual legal directory rankings are out, with leading law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts scooping up new Band 1 rankings for both teams and lawyers.

The firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) team is now ranked as Band 1, one of only two firms in New Zealand to hold this position.

Ranked also Tier 1 by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, the TMT team are the go-to lawyers for New Zealand’s private and public sector’s technology needs. As one of the largest specialist TMT teams at any law firm in New Zealand, they are able to assist organisations across all industries implement their technology strategies within New Zealand and around the world. 

Three partners have also been recognised as market-leaders with Gillian Service (Employment), Richard Wells (Sports Law) and Christopher Young (Intellectual Property) awarded Band 1 rankings.
