Sustainable Impact - Issue one

In our first issue of Sustainable Impact we focus on the transition to a low-carbon economy. We sat down with Ports of Auckland’s General Manager of Sustainability, Rosie Mercer, to understand more about the Port’s approach and progress towards a sustainable future.

We discuss reactions to the Climate Change Commission’s first package of draft advice to the Government and examine risks to business associated with climate change, and how they can be managed. We consider the role that international trade rules can play in reducing carbon emissions and outline trends in sustainable finance. We also showcase CH4 Global Limited and B Lab – two examples of organisations driving New Zealand towards a low carbon, sustainable future.
